What is Core Wound Healing?
Core wounds are the imprints left by experiences that shaped how we see ourselves and the world. They often form early in life, during moments when our needs for love, safety, or belonging were not fully met.
These experiences create unconscious patterns of protection and deeply conditioned beliefs such as:
“Nothing ever works out for me.”
“I have to do everything myself.”
“I am only loved when I am helping.”
“Nobody cares about me.”
“I’m not lovable.”
“I don’t belong.”
The Stories That Shape Our Lives
Over time, these beliefs become unconscious storylines that shape how we relate, what we expect, and what we allow ourselves to receive.
Once protective and vital, these storylines can eventually limit our perspective and choices — keeping us bound to patterns that no longer serve who we are becoming.
